How Agora handles personal data

Data used by the service

Agora may process account and contact details, business information, content you submit, saved offers and loyalty activity, approximate or device-provided location when a feature needs it, and technical and security records needed to operate and protect the service.

We use data to provide requested features, secure accounts, prevent misuse, communicate about the service, support users, and meet applicable legal obligations. Access is limited according to operational need.

Cookieless analytics and performance measurement

Agora uses Vercel Web Analytics only on the public resident and business marketing pages to understand aggregate audience and page views. Separately, Agora uses Vercel Speed Insights across public pages and the app to measure aggregate loading and interaction performance. Agora does not connect either measurement to accounts or use it for advertising.

These measurements are cookieless. For Web Analytics, Vercel processes an approved public-page URL without query parameters, timestamp, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate location derived from the request. For Speed Insights, Vercel processes Web Vitals and related attribution, a route, timestamp, browser and device information, approximate country, and network speed. Before a performance event is sent, Agora replaces the page URL with its generic route template so dynamic account, business, support, offer, loyalty, invitation, or other record identifiers are not included. Events with query strings, fragments, malformed URLs, or no safe route template are blocked.

Vercel creates a request-derived visitor hash for aggregated audience measurement and discards it after about 24 hours, so it cannot recognize a visitor across different days or websites. Analytics records are retained only while needed for aggregate measurement and applicable operational or legal requirements; the period depends on the record and purpose.

Analytics provider and international transfers

Vercel provides analytics as a service provider processing data under instructions and safeguards. Its primary processing facilities are in the United States, and data may be processed there or where its approved subprocessors operate. Where applicable, international transfers use safeguards described in Vercel’s Data Processing Addendum, including standard contractual clauses.

Retention and sharing

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the service, security, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. The period depends on the type of record and why it is held.

Data may be handled by service providers that help operate Agora, under appropriate instructions and safeguards, or disclosed when required by law. Agora does not sell personal data for advertising.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
